There had been more time at disposal than I wished I had last year. As a result I realized in early December 2020 not only did I have all the material for my next album written and most of it even recorded, but also there was more material than I needed. Demos I didn’t consider using and the odd live recording I just like because of a special mood or a nice memory.

A luxury issue in not necessarily luxury times. As they were and still are songs I do like a lot to play I decided to also record these. Some at home, some in the studio. Particularly as they are protest songs, labour songs and traditionals. All material in my opinion that needs to be sung and performed. Especially these days. So as of April 1st there is an in-between album of sorts available. Given everything works as planned. Just here. Just physical, no download. It’s - literally - a letter I would send any time to anyone I know. Moreover, selling this album is one of the few ways for me as an artist to generate an income these days.
